Branding and creative direction for a leading AI and visual search startup
Overview
Snap Vision is an innovative tech startup based in London, specialising in visual search and AI-driven solutions for brands, publishers, and retailers. The core technology enables users to find visually similar items in seconds, whether it’s footwear, furniture, or specific colours, patterns or shapes.
Solution
I initially collaborated with Snap as a design consultant, and within a few months, I was offered the opportunity to join the team as the company’s first designer. During my tenure at Snap, I led the UX and product design for their full suite of offerings, including the redesign of iOS and android mobile apps, the e-commerce website and a selection of embeddable widgets for publishers.
In addition to product design, I played a key role in the company’s marketing strategy, spearheading the rebranding efforts in 2015 and leading a nationwide advertising campaign in collaboration with Time Inc and Westfield to promote the newly redesigned products.
I continue to provide consultancy services on an ongoing basis.
